2005-08-15 [Kuruni]: Phillip, that's a friend. And Elandain, i used watercolors, prismacolor pencils and a black pen, some fixes with photoshop because i still need to learn how to keep a drawing clean enough to be presentable :P

2005-08-26 [Kuruni]: well...it is Milla. The second most beautyful woman on earth!! I've never tried oils or acrylics, i ratrher use watercolor and learn to be careful first, is like learning how to drive with a jeep Toyota :)

2005-08-26 [Kuruni]: well, the thing is: if you learn to drive with a toyota jeep, you will be able to drive anything!! Such is watercolors lol. I just grabed a brush last year, so im still learning. I too suck at it but im patient, maybe that's why it looks kind of well done, but I know i suck at it. Tomorrow im going to ask my teacher some cool things about how to resolve certain things more easely instead of work in something for a week or more...

So i guess sometimews is nice to have a teacher for some things from time to time. I like it my way too, but i got stucked and i need to be better or else i wont be able to make a living by what i like to do the most and it will be only a hobby :(

I've never taken classes, what i know is because i learn it myself, but i really need some classes, i need to be able to draw more easely and more quickly. believe me, i feel i'm stuck and have serious troubles when drawing. 2005-11-17 [Elisha Kelly]: when you draw hands... it is always good to keep them as minimal as possible, the more detail I try to put in them the crappier they look... and making fingers slighty pointy always looks good... when all else fails a mirror and your own hands does wonders :P. I think feet are really hard... specially when doing a front facing perspective...

2005-12-16 [Kuruni]: Good question,5 years ago used to be colored pencils and markers but i got tired so i switched to watercolors wich simply got me and i'm still traped in it's magic. Now i want to try oil painting, but i believe watercolors to be my favs.

2006-02-09 [Kuruni]: I have a book of manga and it explains how to do the eys and such, i though i would be one of those who ends up making mangas, but i decided it's not my style. I love anime and manga, but it's not my thing :3  don't be jealous, i work every day and practice, i bet you can do things i cannot do :D

2006-02-13 [Elisha Kelly]: oils are a funny medium, but i liked painting wet on wet, so I used them... though I did water them down with terps... thats the only problem with acrylic... if you want to do all your blending on the canvass they dry to quick... hee hee, the only painting I have sold so far was an oil painting... I was very proud of myself.

and my piece Fae, she is not skinny.
